Walmart has opened three new COVID-19 testing sites in Joplin after collaboration with state and local officials.
The former location on West 7th street is closed this week. All the new locations will be Walmart Neighborhood Markets. All three Neighborhood Markets in Joplin will have drive-thru testing.
The test is self-administered and given out through the drive thru.
The tests are only available to those who are showing symptoms of COVID-19, or who are first responders or medical personnel.
The new testing centers opened Friday, the 13th.
