What started as a suspicious death has now been ruled a homicide by Republic police.
Officers were called to a home on north Douglas Drive south of Hines Street around 5:15 Monday morning.
Investigators remained on scene hours later.
Very little details have been released, but KYTV reports the victim is a woman who was 43.
