A day later, and the race between Democrat Betsy Fogle and Republican Steve Helms has narrowed to a difference of 34 votes.
The Greene County Clerk says he expects a recount for Missouri House District 135.
With military votes coming in all the time, Greene County will continue counting until noon on Friday, the deadline for military voters.
If the difference by then is less than a half of one percent, the county will order a full recount.
