Amish Brothers Go to Prison For Violating Probation

Two Amish brothers will go to prison for 15 years after a Webster County judge ruled that they violated the terms of their probation.

The brothers were first charged with rape when a pregnant 13-year old told a doctor she had sexual contact with the two boys.

Petie and Aaron Schwartz were eventually convicted for molestation and avoided jail time. The brothers got five years of probation, given 100 hours of community service, were forbidden from having contact with the victim, and had to write an apology letter to the community. They also were required to register as sex offenders for the rest of their lives.

The brothers were sentenced after the court learned they had contact with the victim after the sentence and the judge ruled they had violated the terms of their probation, and will go to prison for 15 years.
