A Springfield couple is jail for child sex trafficking.
Forty-one year old Joseph Gibson and 35-year-old Danna Rodriguez are charged with telling a 15-year-old to offer sex acts for money.
The girl told investigators this happened twice, and that she refused the second time.
Rodriguez claims the girl offered to “sell her body.” Advocates at the STAND Against Trafficking organization say the law does not care if the trafficking is consensual.
