Man From Forsyth Sentenced On Child Pornography Charges

A man from Forsyth will spend the next two decades behind bars without parole after pleading guilty to receiving and distributing child pornography.

Timothy Wayne Carnelision Jr., originally pleaded guilty to the charges in February 2020.

Carnelison Jr., has had previous convictions for statutory sodomy and child molestation.

Investigators began looking into Carnelsion Jr., after Google initiated a CyberTip with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children after locating files of suspected child pornography in Carnelison Jr’s, Google Photo app.

Investigators confirmed the images on a cell phone  when executing a search warrant at Carnelison Jr’s residence.

Carnelison Jr., will spend the rest of his life on supervised release when he gets out of prison. He’ll also have to register as a sex offender upon his release.
