The Missouri State Highway Patrol is hosting its community alliance program starting on October 1st.

The program will be held at the Troop D headquarters in Springfield.

Participants will be able to have a tangible experience similar to those used by troopers in the Patrols Law Enforcement Academy in Jefferson City.

The program will run for five weeks on Thursday nights from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Troopers will show people how they investigate major crashes, along with a look at the marine and aircraft divisions.
