A developer from Tulsa wants the City of Springfield to help pay for a new Sports Complex in the north side of the city.
The complex would potentially offer an increase in tourism from national competitions, a new shopping center, restaurant, and other amenities.
The developer has asked the city to provide $4.4. million dollars in funding.
