The Central High School volleyball team won’t be able to practice for another week after someone associated with the team tested positive for COVID-19.
The Springfield School District sent a letter to parents and staff saying all of those associated with the program were potentially exposed and considered a close contact with the person who tested positive.
The team is being asked to quarantine at home through August 25th and monitor for symptoms of the virus.
