Leaders at CoxHealth and Mercy-Springfield say they are seeing record numbers of COVID-19 patients.
The hospitals are reporting close to 90 people hospitalized from the coronavirus.
The Springfield-Greene County Health Department says close to a third of those patients are actually Greene County residents.
Despite the rise in patients, both health systems say they still have room for those seeking other types of medical care.
