The Springfield-Branson National Airport is showing off photos of a most unusual visitor that flew into town this week.
The U.S. Navy E-2 Hawkeye dropped by for fuel.
It’s rare for one to show up at an airport in the middle of the continent.
Hawkeyes are usually based onboard Navy aircraft carriers, where they provide early warning of enemy planes.
