A man is dead after being hit by an anchor at Lake of the Ozarks.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Craig Gathmann was out on the water at around 5 p.m. Wednesday, when he accelerated with his anchor still in the water.
The strain on the rope caused the anchor to launch into Gathmann, killing him.
