The family of a man from Branson killed by a Park Ranger is suing the federal government.
Jon Bolger was camping at the Buffalo National River three years ago when he was shot in the middle of the night.
Attorneys representing the Bolger family say body camera footage from the incident demonstrates clearly that Bolger was not a threat to rangers.
Jon Bolger did have a BB gun, but the lawsuit claims he didn’t use it to threaten rangers. The incident happened three years ago.
The fatal shot from the Park Ranger was in Bolger’s back.
