Safety in voting has become a big priority for Greene county as it prepares for the Missouri State Primary on Tuesday.
Greene County Clerk Shane Schoeller says outside of Springfield there is no mask requirement, so staffing has to be increased in those areas.
Extra staff are needed to sanitize booths and keep things clean.
Those considered most at risk from COVID-19 are allowed to send their ballots in the mail by October 20th.
