A man from Jackson County is in custody after a vehicle chase near Osage Beach.
50-year-old Terry Dickens is charged with leading officers on a car chase through several highways and backroads.
Police made four attempts to deploy spike strips on the road and caught Dickens with the last one.
Dickens fled from his car and jumped into the lake. Police say they convinced him to come to shore.
