The Joplin Health Department says four women in their 70s and 80s have died.
They were all living at the same long-term care facility.
13 people in Joplin have now died from COVID-19.
The Springfield-Greene County Health Department says a woman in her 80s has died.
She’s the ninth death in Greene County, and the first since April 9th.
Health officials say she did not live at a long-term care facility and had no underlying health conditions.
