Taney County Health Department Reports Potential COVID-19 Exposures

Taney County health officials are reporting possible public COVID-19 exposures from two people who have tested positive.

The patients went to:

  • July 1
    • Plato’s Closet in Springfield (Unmaksed) from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
    • Walmart at Branson Hills (Unmasked) from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.
  • July 3
    • Penzoil Branson (Unmasked) from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The health department says to stay home if you’re sick and is asking everyone to wear a mask and follow social distancing guidelines.

In total, Taney County is reporting 107 cases of COVID-19.

There have been 2 deaths, 45 recovered, and 60 active cases.
