The Taney County Coroner says a woman in her 70s has drowned while swimming in Bull Creek.
A release from the coroner says Rita Farrell was swimming near Elizabeth Drive with her husband when she went under the water.
Farrell’s husband recovered her and attempt lifesaving measures, but attempts were unsuccessful.
