A woman from Lampe, Missouri has been arrested for shooting a man in the chest.
Deputies arrested 65-year-old Darlene Smith on Tuesday.
The Stone County Prosecutor has filed charges of assault and armed criminal action.
The victims name has not been released but he was shot April 19 and released later in the month.
Smith admitted to shooting the man but the investigation is ongoing.
