You’ll only be able to buy four packages of meat at a time when you go to Hy-Vee stores.
Hy-Vee is limiting purchases because of worker shortages at meat processing plants and an increase in sales.
The new sales restrictions take effect Wednesday, May 6.
Customers will be limited to buy a combination of four packages of beef, pork and chicken.
