Nearly 7,000 people have been infected with the novel coronavirus in Missouri, and 274 people have died from the disease.

Those are the latest numbers from the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services. They say numbers will continue to go up as testing becomes more available.

There have been 93 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Greene County, with 67 recoveries and 18 active cases.

Eight people have died from the coronavirus in the county, but no deaths have been reported since April 9th.
