If you live in Greene County, you no longer have to show multiple symptoms of COVID-19 to be tested for the virus.
Springfield-Greene County Health Director Clay Goddard says testing requirements are being relaxed.
The county previously asked doctors to only refer patients for testing if they showed multiple symptoms, such as fever and a cough. Now, physicians may refer folks to be tested if they show one symptom of the coronavirus.
More than 2,400 people have been tested for COVID-19 in Greene County, with 80 confirmed cases.
Goddard says eight people who tested positive are currently hospitalized.
