You may remember where you were when Patrick Mahomes and Kansas City won Super Bowl LIV, its first in 50 years.
A column from the Kansas City Star says Dr. Niraj Sehgal, who is a professor at the University of California San Francisco mentioned the Chiefs’ win could actually be a gift for the city.
The column says Sehgal’s reasoning is because Kansas City won the championship, there were no parades or parties in San Francisco, helping flatten a curve when there were already two patients in the area.
Sehgal is one of the leaders of the UCSF COVID-19 Command Center, a center that was formed and launched the same day of the Big Game.
