The Springfield-Greene County Health Department is warning people not to travel for fear they’ll get the coronavirus and bring it back home.
Director Clay Goddard says 30% of all Greene County cases have been travelers.
But adding contacts of travelers to the statistic means that 81-percent of the cases in Greene County have been travel-related.
Goddard says people should also avoid gathering in large groups for Easter.
In-person religious services are not permitted under the stay-at-home order.
With a holiday weekend coming up, we are urging SGF/@GreeneCountyMO residents to avoid leisure travel, especially to areas where COVID-19 is widespread. Full release at https://t.co/r50YmpxZcO.
