Firefighters in Springfield say a fire in a vacant building on the city’s northeast side is under control.
Crews were called to the old Repair Shop Restaurant and Saloon on Kearney west of Neergard around 8 a.m. Wednesday.
Flames shot through the roof, and firefighters quickly got out of the building and set up a defensive attack.
The fire was under control shortly after 9 a.m.
There are no reports of any injuries.
