An employee from the CoxHealth Heart Center in Branson, a stand-alone clinic, has tested positive for COVID-19.
CoxHealth says it is working the health department to notify other employees and members of the public who may have had close contact during a recent three-day time frame with the worker who has tested positive.
The source of the infection is unknown at this time. The health system says the clinic was extensively cleaned Sunday.
The employee is doing well and recovering at home.
