Flash Floods Affecting The Ozarks Today

Rain from last night, combined with showers this morning is leading to flash floods throughout the Ozarks.

The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warnings for Greene, Webster and Wright County until 12:30 p.m. today.

The NWS has also issued Flash Flood Warnings for the counties of Barry, Christian and Stone until 5:15 p.m.

Newton, McDonald, and Lawrence counties are under a Flash Flood Warning until 11:30 a.m.

We’ve received reports of multiple vehicles stranded due to flooding, including a couple water rescues so far.

Roaring River State Park says the river has risen three feet with flooding and they’re notifying campers.

The NWS is reported many roadways are closed due to the flooding. You can check those roadways and see if any near you are affected with the MoDOT Traveler Map.
