Wonders of Wildlife Announces Temporary Shutdown

Wonders of Wildlife National Museum and Aquarium has announced it will be closing down, and plans to reopen in early April.

They add their annual membership passes will be extended by the number of days they remain closed.

The outdoor attractions will remain open as they remain in compliance with public health guidelines.

Following is an excerpt from their press release:

We hope any disappointed out-of-town visitors visit these outdoor attractions:

  • Dogwood Canyon Nature Park is a 10,000-acre slice of Ozarks paradise offering hiking, biking, Segway tours, wildlife tram tours, horseback riding, and trout fishing. Dogwood Canyon is an outdoor playground that inspires visitors to get involved in wildlife conservation. The natural beauty of the park includes towering bluffs, waterfalls, creek beds, handcrafted bridges and wildlife such as American bison, Rocky Mountain elk and white-tailed deer.
  • The Lost Canyon Cave Trail at Top of the Rock offers guests a self-guided electric cart tour along an unforgettable two and a half-mile journey. Located alongside a natural Ozarks cliffside that traverses through a cave, this dramatic trail was created to highlight stunning rock formations, waterfalls and views of Table Rock Lake.
  • The Ancient Ozarks Natural History Museum at Top of the Rock also remains open, where we have regulated tours in place.
