Greene County Collectors Office Closed For Walk-Ins Until Further Notice

Greene County Collector Leah Betts is serving citizens via phone, online, with electronic devices and mail due to concerns over the mass spread of the coronavirus.

The office will be eliminating walk-in traffic until further notice.

This is NOT a county wide announcement, this only applies to the Greene County Collector’s office.

Betts says:

“It is not a decision made out of panic, but of concern for citizens and employees. I feel like this is a responsible decision aimed at drastically reducing exposure to this virus to everyone involved. We have worked diligently over the last several years to bring this office up to speed in our electronic world, and we have been overwhelmingly successful. However, if you do not have electronic access, we will help you in various other ways. I personally want to thank the public for their support and understanding during this unusual time.”

Here are the guidelines folks need to know:

  • You can print bills and pay online at www.countycollector.com
  • We can use good old fashioned snail mail to communicate and conduct business. If you are mailing in a payment just remember payments must be postmarked by the U.S. Post Office or made via the website on or before the last day of the month in which you are paying.
  • If you need help paying online or for ANY other reason, call us at 417-868-4036 and we WILL happily serve you.

For more information, you can contact Leah Betts at lbetts@greenecountymo.gov or 417-224-3278
