Former Webster County deputy, Brent Grey, has been sentenced after pleading guilty to child sex crimes.
A Greene County judge handed down 15 years to Grey on the charges of child molestation and statutory sodomy.
According to court records, the young girl Grey is accused of sexually abusing made a hotline call to the Children’s Division of Greene County Department of Social Services.
The girl told authorities the abuse began when she was only 10 years old and lasted for around two years.
Sheriff Roye Cole made the initial arrest.
Investigators searched Grey’s cell phone and tablet and found more than 1000 images of child pornography.
