Opening day of trout season is gearing up to be a warm one.
March 1 kicks off the start of the 2020 catch-and-keep trout season with temperatures reaching the 60’s.
Trout season runs from March 1 – October 31 in Missouri.
Anglers can head to Bennet Spring State Park near Lebanon or Roaring River State Park in Cassville for an official 6:30 am start.
You can pick up trout tags at state park concession stores and share your best catch by tagging @MoStateParks and using the hashtag #MOTrout on social media.
