A man is in prison for murder after a Jury convicted him for 2017 killing of his daughter’s boyfriend in Rogersville.
Court documents say Berton Folsom, 41, shot and killed 26-year-old William Meyer after he admitted he had been unfaithful in the relationship.
On the day he was shot, Meyer, Folsom, and Folsom’s daughter were drinking alcohol, before Meyer and Folsom got into an argument and Folsom shot him in the back of the head.
Folsom claims it was in self-defense.
