Missouri State Highway Patrol crews rescued multiple teenagers Saturday night from the Elk River in McDonald County.

The Patrol says the teenagers rode a boat into the lake before the motor began to quit. The boat was swamped before the rescue.

Crews arrived on scene at around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday.
