An art teacher at Nixa High School will be receiving a national award next month for his work in Pre-K through 12th grade education.
Ryan Widel will be receiving the award at the National Art Education Association Convention on March 27th in Minnesota.
He won the 2020 Award for Excellence in PK-12 Art Education.
The USSEA is a national association that provides a network of connections for art educators and art education researchers.
