Rain will move into the Ozarks late in the day on Tuesday, then change over to snow by late at night into Wednesday morning.

The National Weather Service says we’re expecting around an inch in the Springfield area, with higher amounts of two inches north of Springfield.

There may be some isolated amounts of three inches.

Areas south of Springfield should only get a trace of snow, with the advisory not covering counties along the Missouri and Arkansas border.

Travel impacts are expected to be minor overall, with colder road surfaces up toward central Missouri.
