A man from Clever has been charged after pointing a gun at police.
According to the probable cause statement, 48-year-old Cliff Meny called 911 on Thursday, January 19 saying he had a gun and needed help.
Upon authorities arrival, Meny pointed a gun at the Clever officer, Logan High.
High fired multiple shots, two of which hit Meny.
Christian County deputies performed first aid and Meny was airlifted from the scene, where he remains hospitalized in stable condition.
He faces charges of first-degree assault, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon.
