Man Faces Additional Charges Of Knowingly Infecting Women With HIV

A man who’s been charged with knowingly infecting women with HIV is now facing two new charges after more women have came forward with similar stories.

Greene County prosecutors filed two new counts of knowingly trying to transmit the virus against Marcus Price this week.

Price was first charged in February. Those charges led former sexual partners of Price to rush to get tested for the virus.

KY3 reports one of his former coworkers told police she had sex with Price, but she said he did tell her he as HIV positive.

Price is also facing one count of tampering with a witness after prosecutors say he offered to pay one of the women to not cooperate with the investigation.

Price has a hearing scheduled for Friday morning in Greene County on the original charges.
