A man charged with strangling and shooting his wife to death at their home in Nixa will have his murder trial held in the Kansas City area.
Todd Blankenship’s murder trial will be held in Platte County on a change of venue.
A trial date has not been set.
Nixa Police got a call to check on Blankenship’s wife in July.
When they showed up at the couple’s home in the 900 block of South Timber Ridge, she was dead.
Police say Blankenship later showed up at someone else’s house, saying he messed up and needed an alibi and some bleach.
He was arrested when he returned to his own home.
