Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt says that he is invested in making sure Missouri gets a bigger payout than the 260 million dollar one Ohio counties received last week.

“It’s affecting everybody,” Schmitt says, “It doesn’t matter your race or your gender or your region or where your live, the impact has been devastating.”

He says hundreds of people in the U. S. are dying every day, adding that the states are moving forward with discussions.

“The county settlement yesterday would be a drop in the bucket for what we are talking about nationally.”

This, week, two Ohio counties received 260 million dollars from McKesson, Cardinal Health, AmerisourceBergen, and Teva.
