Fire crews worked a building fire in the northeast part of Springfield.
When firefighters arrived smoked could be seen coming from a building at the corner of Weller and East Atlantic.
No word yet on how it started, a fire marshal has been called into investigate.
There was no one in the building at the time.
Crews with City Utilities were called in to cut off the electric and gas to the building.
