School of the Osage underwent a small shock this month when Pearson, a popular education company used by schools everywhere, told them that their students had been involved in a data breach.
A list of students first and last names and birthdays may have been accessed in a security breach. No Social Security number or credit card information has been accessed.
Even with the shock, parents and students might not have to worry about anything, since Pearson does not have any evidence that any data was accessed, only that its security was breached.
