Bond Set For Man Charged With Making Terrorist Threat At Springfield Walmart

A man charged with making a terrorist threat at a Walmart Neighborhood Market in southwest Springfield last week will be released from jail.

A Greene County judge ordered 20-year-old Dmitriy Andreychenko from Springfield released on $10,000 dollars bond.

He’s facing a charge of making a terrorist threat in the 2nd degree for walking through the Walmart at Republic and Golden wearing a tactical rifle and body armor while recording himself with his cell phone.

As part of his release, Andreychenko is not allowed to have any weapons.

Defense attorney Dee Wampler says authorities found two AR-15s, a 22 rifle, and ammo at Andreychenko’s house.

They’ve been removed from his house.

Andreychenko works at a local trucking company.

He’ll be back in court for a preliminary hearing on September 16.

This story will be updated when Andreychenko is released from the Greene County Jail.
