Jason’s Deli in Springfield says it will be closing Wednesday, July 31st.

The location on East Battlefield confirmed the closing Tuesday, but declined provide any other details.

Concerned residents in Springfield posted in a local Facebook group today saying they were disappointed to see the local business closing down.

The post mentioned the business had relied on catering to sustain it, but catering in Springfield alone was “not providing sufficient income to remain open.”
