Man Enters Alford Plea In Dog Mauling Death

A Christian County judge has accepted an Alford plea in the dog mauling death of an elderly man back in 2015.

85-year-old Werner Vogt died after two dogs attacked him while he was riding his bicycle on a road near Rogersville.

Joseph Brink owned the dogs and originally faced second-degree involuntary manslaughter.

He entered an Alford plea to a misdemeanor charge of third-degree assault.
