A man has been charged with killing his wife at their home on South Timber Ridge in Nixa.
Court records say Todd Blankenship is charged with murder in Christian County.
He showed up at someone’s home asking for bleach, saying he needed an alibi.
Blankenship’s wife was shot and strangled.
Blankenship has been arrested several times for domestic violence.
In his court appearance, he denied killing his wife.
He says several people on drugs did it.

Charges of first degree murder are filed against a man accused of killing a woman in South Timber Ridge in Nixa on Thursday.
Todd Blankenship faces charges of both first-degree murder and of armed criminal action.
Police say that someone called 911 Thursday about an incident in South Timber Ridge and authorities found the woman dead at the house.
Police have not released a motive. Blankenship has previously been arrested for domestic violence accusations.
