An investigation is underway after law enforcement raided a Springfield business Thursday afternoon.
Police obtained a search warrant for illegal gambling. Search warrants were also served at the business owner’s residence and two local banks, for accounts associated with the business.
The business known as “The Club House” is located in the strip mall at the corner of Kansas Expressway and Battlefield, next to the old King Cash Saver.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol Division of Drug and Crime Control seized gambling devices, records, and proceeds from illegal gaming operations.
Three men from Springfield were arrested for promoting gambling in the first degree.
Formal charges have not yet been filed.
