The Food and Drug Administration has recalled some packaged veggies that could possibly be contaminated with listeria.
Butternut squash, cauliflower, zucchini and vegetable bowls from Green Giant, Trader Joe’s and Signature Farms are products affected.
They are all manufactured by Growers Express.
No frozen or canned vegetables have been recalled.
Growers express says it is sanitizing its factory and equipment.
Listeria causes the typical unpleasant food poisoning symptoms but it can be fatal to children and elderly people, and cause pregnant women to miscarry.
