There could be some severe storms tonight, especially northwest of Springfield.
The National Weather Service says it’ll be after midnight before anything reaches the Springfield area.
Large hail and damaging winds will be the biggest threats Monday night and Tuesday morning.
But all forms of severe weather — including tornadoes — will be possible Wednesday afternoon and evening.
The best chance for those severe storms will be along and south of I-44.
