Crews have broken ground on a new indoor baseball center at the U.S. Baseball Park in Ozark.
The 23,000 square foot indoor facility will feature 14 batting cages where teams can practice year around. The site will also have technology that can analyze a ball’s exit velocity and spin rate and trajectory
The park’s website says the facility is set to open this summer. It’s a $1.5 million dollar project.
The general manager says the addition is all in an effort to bring life back to the park.
The U.S. Baseball Park, formerly Price Cutter Park, has also been chosen for the MSHAA State Baseball Championships from 2021 through 2025.
