Springfield-based Convoy of Hope is deploying disaster teams to Carl Junction and Golden City to help people affected by the tornadoes.

Spokesman Jeff Nene says Convoy is also ready to send crews to Jeff City.

Crews are also standing by to help the flood victims in Oklahoma.

Nene says Convoy is working on setting up a staging area in Tulsa to respond once the flood waters recede.
